Each fine art print is meticulously crafted on acid-free, archival paper to ensure longevity and protection from discoloration. Using vibrant, fade-resistant inks, we deliver museum-quality results that capture the beauty and integrity of the original artwork.

The Golden Ratio borders are thoughtfully applied to create a natural sense of harmony and balance. These borders also serve as a built-in mat, preventing the artwork from touching the frame. Depending on the print size, the borders range from 1 to 4 inches, ensuring a perfect visual balance for every piece.

The original dimensions of this artwork are 11 13/16 in. x. 11 13/16 in.. The sizes we offer have been carefully selected to preserve the artwork's original aspect ratio while providing options that make framing easy and accessible.

Display & Care

We want you to enjoy your fine art print for many years to come. Follow these simple tips to preserve its beauty and display it like a pro:

Caring for Your Print

  • Keep Away from Direct Sunlight: Hang your print in a well-lit room but away from direct sunlight to preserve its vibrant colors and prevent fading.
  • Maintain a Dry Environment: Avoid placing your print in humid areas like bathrooms or kitchens to protect it from moisture.
  • Dust Gently: Use a soft, dry cloth to lightly dust your print occasionally. Avoid cleaning sprays to prevent damage.

Framing Your Artwork

  • Acid-Free Mats Are Key: Opt for acid-free mats when framing to prevent yellowing and keep your print in pristine condition.
  • UV-Protective Glass: Use UV-protective glass to shield your artwork from sunlight and maintain its vibrancy.
  • Floating Frames: For a modern touch, floating frames create space around your artwork, making it stand out beautifully.

Golden Ratio Borders

Every print includes carefully calculated borders based on the Golden Ratio. These borders enhance the artwork’s harmony and ensure it doesn’t come into direct contact with the frame, offering both aesthetic and practical benefits.

Hanging Tips

  • Eye-Level Hanging: Hang your artwork so the center is at eye level—around 57 to 60 inches from the floor—for optimal viewing.
  • Create a Gallery Wall: Display multiple prints as a gallery wall for a cohesive and stylish look. Keep even spacing between each piece.
  • Lighting and Placement: Find a spot with gentle lighting that complements your artwork. Avoid excessive direct sun or heat to ensure longevity.

About the artist: Theo van Doesburg

Theo van Doesburg, born Christian Emil Marie Küpper in 1883 in Utrecht, Netherlands, was a foundational figure in modern art. He adopted his pseudonym from his father's surname and was predominantly self-taught in arts. Van Doesburg founded the De Stijl movement and magazine in 1917, advocating for abstract art and aiming to revolutionize society through aesthetic simplicity, characterized by the use of primary colors and geometric forms. His work influenced various avant-garde movements, including Dada and Constructivism, and he developed Elementarism, which proposed an even greater level of abstraction. Van Doesburg's legacy profoundly impacted the Bauhaus school and the evolution of modern architecture and design, continuing to inspire artists and designers globally until his death in 1931.
